Squadrie is a marketplace that connects clients who post scoped project briefs with squads of independent professionals. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
We provide the platform — the brief, the blind audition, the contract workspace and escrow-backed milestones. The work itself is contracted directly between the client and the squad.
You choose a role when you register: client (you post and fund work) or talent (you join squads and deliver work). You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, your skills and your availability.
Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent identity, experience or affiliation.
Clients publish briefs with a budget, indicative milestones and a diagnostic challenge. Squad applications are scored through a blind audition: until the client evaluates a submission, the squad's identity is hidden from them. That is a core commitment of the product.
A client may allow or decline applicant questions on a brief. Where allowed, an applying squad may open a single question thread per brief — inbound contact is deliberately bounded so clients are not buried.
You must not submit work you did not produce, or take part in an audition for a brief you cannot genuinely deliver.
Project funds are held in escrow and released against milestones. Each milestone is split across squad members as agreed in the accepted proposal, calculated to the cent — splits always total the milestone amount exactly.
Clients are not charged a platform fee on top of the contract value (0%). Talent members pay a platform fee of 10% of amounts released to them from escrow, taken when funds are released rather than when work is applied for, awarded or funded. The fee applies only to money that actually reaches a member: a refund returns the full amount, and a disputed portion resolved in the client's favour is returned in full.
The 10% talent fee is currently charged.
Payments and payouts are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
You are responsible for your own taxes on amounts you earn or pay through Squadrie. Attempting to take payment off-platform to avoid fees is a breach of these terms.
We offer a Scope Guardian that analyses contract discussion for requests that fall outside the agreed statement of work and can raise a flag for the squad lead to review. Additional work is formalised through change orders that both sides accept before anything is delivered against them.
The Scope Guardian is an aid, not an authority. It does not decide disputes and it does not modify your contract. The change order you both accept is what governs.
Do not harass other users, post unlawful content, scrape the service, attempt to circumvent access controls, or interfere with the platform's operation.
Do not send unsolicited marketing or bulk messages. Accounts that spam clients or squads may be suspended.
Messages, files and milestone submissions may be reviewed where necessary to investigate abuse, fraud or a dispute.
If work is contested, either side can raise a dispute. We pause the affected milestone — we do not release funds while a dispute is open — and ask the parties to resolve it between themselves, with the contract history and any scope flags as evidence.
We are not an arbitrator and we do not determine who is right. We will, however, preserve the record: the conversation, the submissions, the scope flags and the change orders.
You keep ownership of what you upload. Clients keep ownership of their briefs and materials; squads keep ownership of their portfolio and prior work.
Unless a brief states otherwise, deliverables transfer to the client on full payment for the milestone they were produced under.
You may close your account at any time. Contracts that are already funded must be completed or cancelled with any open dispute resolved first.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, present a legal or security risk, or defraud other users.
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a client will find a suitable squad, or that talent will find work. We do not warrant that any user's claims about their experience are accurate.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees we received from you in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product. Continuing to use Squadrie after a change means you accept it.
Questions about these terms can be raised from your account settings.
